From Pixeluvo’s quite good looking interface you can access lots of photo editing functionality. Pick an image and you can rotate it, crop it, paint on it, heal spots, use an effect, add text, and more. All the edition functionality is clearly and conveniently presented on the bar to the left and grouped into categories by the File Menu at the top.

The system requirements for running Pixeluvo are as follows: 2GB of RAM memory (4GB recommended), 32 or 64-bit processor (64-bit CPU recommended), Windows operating system (anything from Windows Xp up to Windows 8).

Pixeluvo has a good looking, easy to navigate, dark-themed interface. The main panel displays two buttons when you launch it for the first time: Open Project and New Project. After you get started with a project, the main panel will also display a Recent Files section.

From a visual point of view, Pixeluvo is just what you would expect from a photo editor: the image you’re working on is presented front and center, a File Menu at the top allows you to access various features and functions, there’s a tools bar to the left that lists some of the most commonly used editing tools.

Speaking about editing tools, here’s a quick look at the main ones: crop, paintbrush, eraser, clone, spot heal tool, magic wand, reduce red-eye, text, and warp. Load an image and Pixeluvo will allow you to rotate it, flip it, skew it, resize it, play with its colors, add some text, or use an effect. If at any time you perform an action by accident, or if an action is not to your liking, you can also undo it. Undo and redo are supported, of course.

Please note that there are two Pixeluvo editions to choose from: a Free version and a Full version. The Free version comes with just one restriction: save resolution is limited to 800×600 pixels.

Images don’t always look their best. Sometimes a photo editing tool is needed to make them stand out. With Pixeluvo’s wonderful functionality and user friendly interface you will easily be able to do just that.

Pros

The Pixeluvo system requirements can easily be met by modern PCs. Pixeluvo has a dark-themed, good looking, and user friendly interface. Pixeluvo puts lots of photo edition functions at your disposal. Pixeluvo is available as a Free and as a Full version.

Cons

The Free version is limited to 800×600 save resolution.
